Excursion
Last Thursday on 2nd June 2009, we went to Sydney Aquarium. Our class caught the train from Kogarah station but I caught a train from Sydenham, which is closer from my suburb where I live.
We met in the Chinese Garden. We bought a ticket at the Chinese Garden but I wasn't lucky because I didn't show my concession card to the person who was selling the tickets, so I didn't get a discount like the others.
Anyway, the Chinese Garden makes people relax because there are lots of nice plants, flowers, fishes in their pools, so we enjoyed it when we sat down in the garden to look at all of it. We broke up for a short time at a coffee shop inside the Chinese garden and I had a hot chocolate milk, so sweet and comfortable. We weretalking lots .
From the Chinese garden we continued to the Aquarium. There are sections with lots of kinds of fishes, crocodiles, water snakes , dugongs, sharks, corals and more. I have always been interested in corals. They are really beautiful, they move around because of the fish making waves. They had different colors and were very peaceful.
After the Sydney Aquarium, we went out and we found a place to buy some food. In the corner of the Aquarium they have a shopping mall and there are food courts which sell lots of kinds of food, e.g Thai food, Pizzas and Kebabs, Chinese food, Oporto and more. I chose Tom Yum soup, Bee chose KFC, Mitu and her friends chose Oporto and for others there were different choices.
After we finished our food we went home by train, the same as when we were coming. All the way to the station we were talking and joking a lot. We didn't feel tired, we just enjoyed it. All my friends chose a train to Kogarah but I chose a train to Lidcombe, because I went to mother in-law's home and I met my husband there.
